Things That Are Embarrassing

In the customs area at LAX I literally walked into someone's luggage. It involved a Japanese guy who was turning to go in the Visitors line and I was going straight to the Global Entry line. I thought I was so smooth turning right behind him while anticipating his left turn but instead I walked straight into the luggage he was pulling behind him. I felt so awful, especially since I couldn't apologize in Japanese. Don't know why I didn't see it. I blame lack of sleep. Darn angled lie flat seats!
